Dutch sailors, eating whales and other ‘fruit de la mer’, Japanese characters, and what not, are mixed together in this invitation card.

The two characters used here are the immensely popular Peko chan and Poko kun, mascottes of Fujiya Co., one of the largest candymanufacturers in Japan.

One composition is cut in half. Each side has both a positive and a negative component. By distributing all ingredients on both sides of the printing plates, all four (2 x 2) possible combinations are made without any extra effort…

Printed on blue Facta cardstock (Proost & Brand) with opaque white, fluo pink and fluo orange inks.
