While being a graphic design student at the Rietveld Academy during the second half of the nineties, I started to collect partyflyers, gallery invitations, seasonal greetings and other printed ephemera.
Combined, these objects offer a myriad of moods, textures and patterns that have strongly influenced my own work. Although nothing can beat digital communication in terms of speed and reach, throughout the years my fondness for sending and receiving small printed objects stayed very much alive.
