T-Shirt Printing at Stedelijk Museum
Workshop with children at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam project space.
In close collaboration with my collegue Nicky den Breejen, who’s an expert in screenprinting on fabric and textiles techniques at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Textile Workshop.
All 15 participants (age 6 to 12 years) were asked to submit a black and white drawing…
…that was scanned and changed into a negative shape suitable for screenprinting on fabric.
The children’s own print in yellow, magenta or red was overprinted with a variation on the new SMA typographic logo in emerald green!
