The article I was about to illustrate, reflected on the rapid development of modern mass communication under the new economic liberty in China. At the time everybody wanted to own a Nokia cellphone, so I decided to work with that.
Tired of endless hours clicking the mouse, this book on traditional Chinese papercutting inspired me to try something else, just like this young street artist.
