The separations for this series of prints (informed by the technique of paper marbling) were originally drawn by hand on large sheets of transparent paper.
Over a period of about 6 weeks, after each printed colour, Nina added a new layer.
After completing and (re-)combining six different stages of the prints, a selection of sheets were cut and recombined.
